Neuroscience

When I began my next academic journey at Lake Forest College, I was still unsure of the career path that I wanted to pursue. Since I have always loved science, I enrolled in a few science-related classes and ultimately decided that I wanted to major in neuroscience. I was attracted to the field of neuroscience, due not only to its interdisciplinary nature, but because there is still so much to be discovered about our brains. We are in a time of increasing research in neuroscience and the possibilities of discoveries are endless. I plan on taking my passion for neuroscience with me to medical school, and eventually becoming a neurosurgeon.
