During the 2025-26 fiscal year, $3.2 million was raised for the Forester Fund, the most annual fund support in College history!

3,075 donors—alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends—came together to support the life-changing opportunities that define a Lake Forest College education. Alumni in particular stood out, increasing their participation by eight percent, showing their commitment to those following in their footsteps.

The Forester Fund is critical for the College and touches every aspect of the student experience, including scholarships and financial aid, exceptional faculty and dedicated staff, career preparation, athletics, the arts, and everything in between.

Additionally, Forester Day, the College’s annual day of giving, reached new heights. The Forester Family raised $794,500—the most dollars and gifts since inception.

"Thanks to the generosity of thousands of donors, our students will continue to receive vital financial aid and scholarship support, have access to our career preparation services through the Gorter Family Career Advancement Center, and benefit from a collection of engaging hands-on learning opportunities," Vice President of Advancement Katie Spieth said. "Together, we can continue to provide an exceptional experience for all Foresters—one that will transform their lives for years to come."
