Humanities 2020 will host a workshop and live performance by poet, author, professor, former Chicagoan, and three-time national poetry slam champion.
Javon’s first book of poetry, Ain’t Never Been Black, was published in 2020 and his tv appearances include HBO’s Def Poetry Jam, BET’s Lyric Café.
Two workshop sessions will be offered. The first begins at 4 p.m. and the second begins at 7 p.m. Each is an hour long.
