How did you choose your area of study?
The brain has given people the ability to sing, to draw, to write, and to laugh. It amazes me that people are able to have various talents and unique personalities through the guidance of the brain. The thought of uncovering more and more of the brain’s mysteries excites me and gives me hope for many patients facing neurological diseases. I would like to spend my years bringing joy and hope to these people who have been diagnosed with debilitating diseases such as Parkinson’s Disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Through the neuroscience program, I have learned more about these diseases and how I can help patients. Because of these years, I have come to learn more about myself and others, so that I can make a change for the better.
