How did you choose your area of study?
The decision to study neuroscience has stemmed from my belief that the brain is the fundamental mechanism behind humanity. Studying the brain seems to be applicable to everything that makes up a culture and therefore has endless possibilities. Beyond the personal gratification of studying something so fundamental to what make a person who they are, I also believe that the field of neuroscience is ripe with professional opportunities. In the future, I hope to pursue a PhD and use my knowledge of the brain to make differences in the fields of politics, policy, and medicine.
