How did you choose your area of study?
I have always been interested in Psychology and Chemistry. Neuroscience allows me to study both of these subjects and deepen my understanding of the brain and nervous system. I am intrigued by the way people think, especially when dealing with disorders. My ultimate goal is to become a Clinical Psychologist. Majoring in Neuroscience will allow me to understand how the brain correlates to the mind to better understand my patients. This link between Psychology and Neuroscience will help me understand my patients mentally and physiologically, which ultimately will allow me to fully understand my patients’ conditions.
