How did you choose your area of study?
Personal experiences have made their impact on me choosing to study neuroscience. It wasn’t until my own grandmother was diagnosed with advancing Alzheimer’s disease that I became interested in learning more about how neurological diseases work and how the brain is affected by drugs. I’ve made the choice to study neuroscience so that I may continue to understand how the nervous system develops, malfunctions, and changes. I’m hoping to pursue a career in medicine as a geriatrician.
