Robert W. Crawford Jr.
Robert W. Crawford Jr. is Chairman of Lake Forest-based Brook Furniture Rental, which he founded in 1979. Brook offers a full line of residential and office furnishings to individuals and corporations with 21 showrooms throughout the country, nine distribution centers, seven clearance centers and a staff of 500 employees. Mr. Crawford has served as Chairman and President of the Board of Directors of the International Furniture Rental Association, member of the Advisory Council on Agriculture, Labor and Business to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce. He is currently a Trustee and past President of the Board of Trustees for the National Recreation Foundation and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Field Museum. Mr. Crawford received his B.S. from Dickinson College in 1960 and his M.B.A. from the Wharton School in 1963. He and his spouse, Winnie, live in Lake Forest.
