How did you choose your area of study?
My interest in the Neuroscience program began my Sophomore year after completing my Bio Inquiry: A Brain that Changes Itself. The class was based off the book by Norman Doidge and it was about how the brain has the capacity to rewire itself by a term known as Neuroplasticity. I was truly enlightened by both the book and the class that I decided I wanted to pursue a minor in Neuroscience. One of the most exciting things about neuroscience is that new discoveries are coming out every day and there is still so much to learn about the brain that it is an exciting field to be in. Although after graduation I intend to pursue a career in Finance, I believe with the knowledge that I learned about the brain, it will better prepare me for my career and in life.
