Paliga performs in benefit concert for Puerto Rico

Senior Lecturer in Music Mitch Paliga recently traveled to Puerto Rico to perform with the Lt. Dan Band at a benefit concert to raise awareness of Puerto Rico’s hurricane recovery needs.

Paliga regularly tours with actor and musician Gary Sinise’s Lt. Dan Band, which performs at USO shows, entertains troops, and raises money for disabled veterans.

On March 2, Lt. Dan Band partnered with PenFed to put on their Benefit Concert for Puerto Rico. Check out a video highlighting the concert and its purpose here.

As a member of the Lt. Dan Band since 2007, Paliga has also performed on U.S. military bases and hospitals in Afghanistan, South Korea, Japan, Europe, Guantanamo Bay Cuba and Kuwait as well as the Pentagon, the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor, West Point, Air Force and Naval Academies, and CBS Television City.
