White Like Her: Book Talk with Gail Lukasik

Award-winning author Gail Lukasik will present a talk at the Lake Forest Library on Wednesday, December 6 at 7 p.m.

White Like Her: My Family’s Story of Race and Racial Passing is the story of Libertyville resident and award-winning author Gail Lukasik’s mother’s “passing,” Gail’s struggle with her mother’s choice, and her subsequent journey of self-discovery and redemption.

Books will be available for purchase and signing following the presentation. Light refreshments will be served.
