Important fall course deadline

The last day to withdraw from a fall course with an automatic “W” Withdrawal grade or declare a fall course to be taken under the Pass-Fail grading arrangement is Friday, October 27 at 5:00 p.m.

We are one week away from the deadline of Friday, October 27 at 5:00 p.m. for two important items pertaining to your current fall semester courses:

First, it is the last day to withdraw from a fall course with an automatic “W” Withdrawal grade, which does not impact your GPA. In order to withdraw from a course, you must fill out a Course Withdrawal Form and have it signed by your advisor (not the instructor).

Second, it is the last day to declare a fall course to be taken under the Pass-Fail grading arrangement. In order to elect this option for any of your courses, you must fill out a Pass-Fail Form and have it signed by your advisor (not the instructor). The new Pass-Fail Option policy that went into effect this fall can be found in the College Catalog here: http://www.lakeforest.edu/academics/catalog/policies/grades.php.

The Course Withdrawal Form and Pass-Fail Form are available on the Students tab of my.lakeforest by clicking on the “Student Forms” page. You will find these forms under the category of Registration Forms. Submit the completed and signed paperwork to the Registrar’s Office in North Hall 100.
