How to Bounce Back

Feeling stressed and overwhelmed with the semester?   Unsure how you will manage this stress?  Not sure you can bounce back from your distress? Consider attending the Health and Wellness Center’s How to Bounce Back group.

The group is designed to help you learn more about yourself, identify the stresses and challenges in your life, explore how you have dealt with adversity in the past, develop resiliency skills and a resiliency mindset, and find better ways to use these skills to deal effectively with whatever you encounter in life.  

The group will take place weekly on Thursdays at 3pm in the Health and Wellness Center. It will consist of a 4-part series that will repeat itself throughout the course of the semester. You will get the most benefit if you are able to complete all 4 groups in the series, but you are welcome to come to only 1 or a few groups.  You can also repeat the series if you would like to attend again.

All groups take place in the Health and Wellness Center, in Buchanan Hall.

If you are interested in participating, you can check in at the Health and Wellness Center just before 3 p.m. on the Thursday that you wish to attend. If you would like to reserve your spot in the group ahead of time, you may register through the campus calendar. While this is not necessary, it will ensure that there is room for you that week, as space may be limited.
