1857 Society offers easy way to give
Alumni and friends of the College can include Lake Forest College in their estate plans to help preserve what they love most about it.
Donors who set aside a percentage of their estate to the College become members of the 1857 Society, which includes a number of benefits.
Peggy Aagesen Rouh ’73 included the College in her estate plan even though she already gives back to the College through a fund she established for the maintenance of her favorite dormitory, Lois Hall.
“Lake Forest College has given me a plethora of experiences and has helped me establish a wonderful career,” she said. “I want to make sure it can continue to do that for others.” Rouh worked for IBM for 30 years and now teaches at a university.
