Celebration of Faculty Scholarship

The third annual Sue and Gene Hotchkiss Celebration of Faculty Scholarship will be held on Tuesday April 18th at 4 pm in the Donnelley and Lee Library.

Dear Colleagues,

I’m pleased to announce that the third annual Sue and Gene Hotchkiss Celebration of Faculty Scholarship will be held on Tuesday April 18th at 4 pm in the Donnelley and Lee Library. The reception will honor faculty who have published work during the past year (2016-17). Thanks to the generosity of president emeritus Gene Hotchkiss, we will have an opportunity to gather together for a collective celebration of the professional achievements of our colleagues.

As we have done in the past, we will showcase a selection of recent faculty publications and other forms of scholarship and creative activity. To that end, please e-mail Cory Stevens citations for any publications or other scholarly or artistic achievements that you have accomplished during 2016-17 academic year. Cory requests that you send her the following information:
  • Books: title, publisher, date of publication.
  • Journal articles: title, journal, volume, issue, date of publication, pages.
  • Book chapters: title, book title, publisher, date of publication.
  • Exhibitions, performances, recordings: title, venue, publisher (if relevant), date; please contact Cory directly to discuss how best to present your work.
  • Items that are forthcoming will be included in next year’s event.
In order to allow sufficient time to prepare materials for display, please provide Cory with citations for your scholarly achievements by Thursday March 30th.

For those of you who missed seeing the brochure for last year’s event, I have attached a copy to this e-mail.

I look forward to seeing many of you on April 18th.

Thanks
Michael T. Orr
