A great turnout for the Admitted Student Open House brought 107 students and their families to campus on Monday, February 15.
Each student received a personalized “All-Access pass” that included interactive sessions about academics, off-campus programs, internships and careers, and campus life. The Office of Admissions offered numerous tours during the daylong event.
“Our visitors were impressed by the day’s events, In particular, they appreciated the involvement and interest from faculty, staff, and current students,” Vice President of Enrollment Chris Ellertson said.
Monday, the final deadline for first-year applications, brought “more good news,” Ellertson said. Admissions received 4,098 first-year applications by Monday, a nearly 31 percent increase over the 3,137 applications received by the same date last year.
