Register to vote
Students, faculty, and staff who are not registered to vote in Illinois can register through Friday in the Mohr Student Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Associate Director of the M/LS Program Carol Gayle and Associate Professor of Politics Jim Marquardt, both Illinois State Deputy Voter Registrars, are registering voters in time for the Illinois Primary Election on March 15.
After this week, registration can be completed by appointment. Contact Marquardt, Young Hall 412, extension 5126; or Gayle, Young Hall 222, extension 5083.
Registration closes on Tuesday, February 16.
Citizens of the United States who will be 18 years of age by Election Day on November 8, 2016, are eligible to register. Also required are two pieces of ID, at least one of which is a photo ID and one that bears the applicant’s address.
