Men’s soccer headed for NCAA action

Help give men’s soccer a rousing send-off at 3 p.m. Thursday in front of Halas Hall as the team heads to the first round of NCAA tournament play.

Cheering fans (that’s you!) will form a gauntlet to wish them luck as they load the bus for their 5 p.m. game against Wheaton College on Friday.

A fan bus (thanks to Student Government and the Gates Center) will go to the game in Aurora, Illinois. Sign up during lunch on Thursday or in the Gates Center during non-tabling hours. A $10 deposit is required at sign-up but will be returned on the bus. The deadline to reserve a spot is 2 p.m. Thursday.

This NCAA bid marks the fourth tournament appearance in College history and the second in three years for the Forester men’s soccer program.

The winner of Friday’s first-round matchup will face the winner of UW-Whitewater vs. Rose-Hulman at 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Unable to make the trip? Cheer on the team via webcast at www.goforesters.com.
