Again this year, well over 90 percent of Lake Forest grads have gone on to jobs or other continuing education opportunities after graduating from Lake Forest College.
“We are very pleased that over 90 percent of the class of 2014 are working or pursuing continuing education,” said Lisa Hinkley, associate vice president for career and professional development at Lake Forest College. “The Career Advancement Center works closely with students from day one to assist them in developing and implementing an effective career strategy.”
In fact, nearly 75 percent of all students participated in Career Advancement Center (CAC) activities during the 2014–2015 academic year.
Through a recent major gift to the College, every academic department at Lake Forest now has a dedicated CAC liaison who will assist with career-preparation efforts, including working with prospective employers interested in recruiting Lake Forest students or alumni for positions or internships.
