Welcome, new students!
Everyone pitched in to welcome the incoming Class of 2019 and transfer students during new student move-in and orientation.
The new arrivals represent 35 states and 35 countries, including Albania, Angola, Brazil, Canada, China, Cameroon, Croatia, Czech Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Eritrea, France, Ghana, Hungary, Japan, Korea, Kosovo, Lebanon, Moldova, Montenegro, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, South Africa, Sudan, Tanzania, Turkey, Uganda, United States, Swaziland, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
There are 38 languages spoken among the students in the Class of 2019.
Academically, the new class is a strong one with an average GPA of 3.69.
Their extracurricular activities and interests are as diverse as their hometowns and they will contribute richly to the campus community. They have fun talents ranging from motor cross racing, to glassblowing, to equestrian competition, to Japanese flower arranging, to kiteboarding, to fox hunting.
They are Eagle Scouts, musicians, volunteers, athletes, world travelers, and leaders and the Forester community looks forward to getting to know each of them!
