Richter Option II symposium Friday
The annual Option II Richter Symposium will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, July 17, in Meyer Auditorium, located in Hotchkiss Hall.
The 18 first-year research associates will be available for conversation prior to the start of the presentations and refreshments will be served. The afternoon session will begin with science posters in the lobby at noon.
“There are some pretty remarkable projects brewing here, covering the gamut of the Liberal Arts,” Professor of Music Don Meyer said. “Come and support these hard-working students!”
In all, 42 Richter Scholars were selected to work on more than 40 different research projects over the course of three or ten weeks this summer, depending on their program. The three-week Richter Scholars presented their research during the Richter Symposium on June 5.
The Honors Fellows and Richter Scholar Committee received a record number of applications this year.
