Associate Professor of English Joshua Corey and Kaisa Cummings ’14 read from their latest published works at the Poetry Foundation’s “Open Door Readings” in Chicago.

Cummings, a double major in creative writing and art history, read from her first chapbook, Home Remedies. She wrote the collection of prose poems in her senior-level thesis class.

Corey, the author of four books of poetry, read from his latest, The Barons and Other Poems, and from a manuscript.

The “Open Door” series presents work from Chicago’s new and emerging poets and highlights the area’s outstanding writing programs.
