Registrar’s Office adds new registration opportunities for students this summer

Students who need to update, change, or finalize their 2020–2021 course schedules for any reason now have two special opportunities to do so this summer.

The first change-in-registration period, from May 27 to June 12, offers students another chance to register before incoming first-year and transfer students. The second registration period, from August 5 to 19, is open to everyone. For more information, see the full announcement below.

May 26, 2020

Dear Students,

Did you not finish getting registered during the Priority Registration Period back in April?

Have you decided to pursue a new major or minor, or are taking course work this Summer that necessitates a revamp of your courses for next year?

Perhaps you recently had a financial hold removed?

Are you a student on an approved Personal Leave or Medical Leave who has already informed the Dean of Students Office that you are returning to LFC in the fall semester?

If you answered yes to any of the questions above, or simply want to make some adjustments to your Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 schedules, the Registrar’s Office is pleased to offer two Change in Registration Periods this summer:

  • May 27-June 12 (take advantage of this special opportunity before the New First-Year and Transfer Students register!)
  • August 5-19

Refer to the attached registration guide very carefully and keep for your records these next couple of weeks.

Again, online registration reopens opens on May 27 for all continuing students:

  • New deposited Fall Transfer Students and Readmitted Students—The first opportunity to register will start Friday, June 19.
  • New deposited First-Year Students shall soon receive a welcome letter explaining how to work with your assigned First-Year Studies advisor and the Summer Transition Advising and Registration Team (START) to build out your fall schedule.

If any questions arise during the Change in Registration Period, please contact the Registrar’s office at registrar@lakeforest.edu and we’ll be happy to assist.

Sincerely,

Registrar’s Office
