Bicycle removal and donations during COVID-19

Facilities Management removes abandoned non-registered bicycles on campus every year just after Commencement. Due to the unexpected way students left campus this year, the process will be slightly different.

If your bicycle is registered with Public Safety you have no reason to worry - it will not be removed.  If your bicycle is NOT registered with Public Safety AND you would like to keep it on campus please call or send an email to me at 847-735-5043 or cortright@lakeforest.edu.  You will need to be able to describe your bicycle by color, brand, model, size or some other distinguishing item and also the location.  I will work with you to get your bicycle identified if you would like to keep it and bicycle registration fees will be waived for the next 30 days.

Bikes that are not identified and registered by Monday May 18, 2020 at 5pm will be removed on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 19 and 20, 2020 – one week later than normal – and donated to Our Community of Illinois who renovates the bicycles and gives them to foster kids in the local area.
