Celebrate Black History Month

The United Black Association welcomes Foresters to the College’s Black History Month events. All month long, UBA is hosting panels, lectures, and a movie viewing in honor of Black History Month.

  • Cultural Appropriation Panel, February 10 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the UBA lounge in Roberts Hall.
  • Soulful Soup: E’mon Lauren, February 13 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the UBA lounge in Roberts Hall.
  • Black Love, February 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wood Lounge in Reid Hall.
  • Frederick Douglass and the Haitian PAvilion, 1893, February 16 from 3 to 5 p.m. in Meyer Auditorium, Hotchkiss Hall.
  • Black Identity Panel, February 18 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Wood Lounge in Reid Hall.
  • Conversation on Leadership with Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, February 24 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Wood Lounge in Reid Hall. 
  • Juke Jam, February 29 from 11:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the Mohr Student Center. 

All events are free and open to any who wish to attend.
