Student Symposium nominations due January 27

Student-submitted applications for the Steven Galovich Student Symposium are due by 5 p.m. Monday, January 27. Student Symposium brings all members of the Forester community together for a day of scholarly and creative presentations, exhibits, debates, performances, and posters.

Many faculty have already nominated students to participate in this Lake Forest tradition. If possible, we encourage students to work with a faculty member who can nominate them for participation.

However, we also want to open up applications directly to all students. If you have completed a major research, creative, or artistic project that you would like to share with the larger community at the Student Symposium, we welcome direct student applications.

Keep in mind that space and time are limited, and not all applications will be able to be included on the Symposium program.

Students can submit their proposals here. Feel free to contact Professor Rudi Batzell with any questions.
