Community Art Workshop to create ‘Call to Action’ pieces for MLK Day celebration is Jan. 18

The Office for Intercultural Relations is hosting an MLK Community Art Workshop from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, January 18 in the Student Center Skybox to give students, faculty, and staff an opportunity to create art that follows the theme of “Call to Action” using paint or poetry. Art submissions representing the theme also can be dropped off during the workshop or submitted electronically to Intercultural@lakeforest.edu. The art will be displayed in Reid Hall on January 21 during the reception following the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration in the Chapel at 4:30 p.m.
