Professor of French Cynthia Hahn played host to Lebanese author Evelyne Accad in early March as part of the 10th annual Lake Forest College Literary Festival. The two presented at a handful of events together in Chicago and on campus.
Adaptation and dramatic reading of “Sexual Education and Moral Instruction,” short story by Lebanese author Evelyne Accad; adapted by Professor of French Cynthia Hahn and her students in FREN334: French Literature Through Film; performance, publicity, program, filming done by Hahn’s students, with participation by author Accad, invited for the Lake Forest College Literary Festival. This adaptation, combined with the Tusitala reading, was the festival’s closing event.
Students and faculty gathered to celebrate Eukaryon’s thirteenth annual inauguration on Wednesday, March 8. Eukaryonis an award-winning undergraduate research journal that publishes the very best of life science scholarship conducted at Lake Forest College.
