Lake Forest Volunteers

Lake Forest College students, faculty, and staff volunteer at North Chicago elementary schools as part of the North Chicago Community Partners afterschool program.

    Chinese Club hosted a Chinese New Year party to celebrate the year of the monkey. Students enjoyed learning the game of Go, one of the oldest board games still played today. The game originated in ancient China more than 2,500 years ago. Xinming Guo, the founder of Go and Math Academy, taught the group how to play.
