The VirtualSpace Goes Mobile
The Lake Forest College VirtualSpace, one of many of our very exciting Innovation Spaces on campus, now has the ability to set up a virtual reality experience outside of the library. Connie Corso, head of the Innovation Spaces in the Donnelley and Lee Library, is especially thrilled to be able to incorporate virtual reality into the classroom. The VirtualSpace staff may be able to align the professor’s learning goals with a specific program to enhance students’ overall learning experience.
Corso also communicated that she is “equally excited about the student employee team that has done so much to establish the VR space and programming. They love to host visitors to the space and share what they know about our VR equipment and programming. Our current student staff is Binam Bajracharya ’19, Mayra Tlatepla ’21, Natalie Briggs ’21, Nemanja Cmomarkovic ’21, Xavier Higa ’19, and Mikita Zhylinski ’20.” Accessing virtual reality has never been this easy, all you have to do is stop by DO 212 during scheduled hours and try out a VR experience. Alternatively, you can set up an appointment with the VirtualSpace team by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
