Internships and Careers
The theater program at Lake Forest College prepares students for a wide range of careers - from performance to public relations to management (in or outside of the arts). Theater majors learn how to express themselves, communicate ideas creatively and work effectively on teams to produce complex projects.
Given the wide-ranging career options available to theater majors, the Lake Forest College Career Pathways are especially important. The Career Pathways are five career communities designed to help students explore major/career options and position themselves for the internships that will help them to further prepare for productive and rewarding careers after graduation. Students from all majors participate in the Career Pathways to shape their career goals alongside of their academic interests.
Theater majors most commonly find their home in the Creative Arts Pathway, but are truly welcome in any pathway.
