Blackstone Hall

Modeled after buildings at Oxford, Blackstone Hall and its twin, Harlan, were completed in 1907.

Blackstone Residence Hall is a co-ed residence hall housing both first-year and upper-division students in primarily singles and doubles, with a few triples and quads. Its location on Middle Campus makes it ideal for access to the main buildings, classrooms, the Mohr Student Center, and the Donnelly and Lee Library.

Blackstone’s community supports a 24-hour quiet hours policy seven days per week.

Blackstone offers a TV lounge and laundry facilities. Programs in the hall balance the social and entertainment needs of students, in order to provide a well-rounded living experience.

In 2013-2014, Blackstone will house primarily first year students, including a theme community, with returning students living in singles. The building will no longer have a 24-hour quiet hour policy.

Middle Campus RAs and First Connection participants break the ice with some fun games to get the year started.
