Housing Contract & Occupancy

Residence halls are open for students a day before classes each semester and close a day after exams end. All students need to complete a housing contract.

For returning students

At the time of room selection or thereafter, once a student has selected her/his room through the process, s/he is required to sign a Housing Contract for the 2012-2013 academic year and have one on file in the Office of Residence Life.

For students entering campus housing for the Spring Semester who did not live on campus in the Fall: Students will be emailed their housing assignment after the New Year. 

Dates of Occupancy

  • Occupancy of an assigned room is limited to the fall and spring academic terms, commencing and ending with dates published in the Student Handbook.

    Fall 2012 Move-in:        
    August 24, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. (new students) 
    August 28, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. (returning students)

    Fall 2012 Move-out:      
    December 20, 2012 by noon

    Spring 2013 Move-in:               
    January 12, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. (for new students)
    January 13, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. (for returning students)

    Spring 2013 Move-out:   
    May 9, 2013 by noon (Non-Graduates)
    May 12, 2013 by noon (Graduating Seniors)

    Please make travel and lodging arrangements accordingly.
