William W. Dlugokienski

William Dlugokienski serves as the Director of the Gates Center, overseeing leadership and service programs. He advises Student Government and chairs the President’s Council of student organization Presidents. William also coordinates the Gates Leadership Scholars program as well as the Leadership Speaker Series and other campus leadership workshops.
Prior to this position he served as the Associate Director of Student Involvement at Dominican University. He has worked in various areas of student life including student activities, residence life, commuter student outreach, leadership programs, student organizations and parent and family programs.
William earned his master’s degree in educational leadership and policy analysis from the University of Missouri and his bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from Grand Valley State University in Michigan.
Patrick R. Doggett
Assistant Director of the Gates Center

Patrick serves as the Assistant Director of the Gates Center, where he manages the programmatic and operational functions of the Mohr Student Center and advises the College’s programming board. Patrick also works to develop and execute special event programming to engage, inspire, and entertain our the Forester community, including New Student Orientation programming, Homecoming, Forester Day of Service, Late Night Breakfasts, and the annual leadership awards.
Prior to his position at Lake Forest College, Patrick worked in various Residence Life and Student Activities roles at Monmouth College and Millikin University, both small private liberal arts institutions in Illinois. He earned a bachelor of arts in political science with minors in organizational leadership and conflict resolution from North Central College and a master of education with a concentration in higher education administration from North Park University in Chicago.
Elizabeth G. Snider

Elizabeth Snider serves as the Program Director of the Gates Center, overseeing Fraternity and Sorority affairs, Student Organizations, Commuter Student Services, and the Gates Leadership Scholars program. She advises Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, and the President’s Council of student organization presidents.
Prior to her position at Lake Forest, Elizabeth served as the Coordinator of Collegiate Member Services at Alpha Phi International. She earned a bachelor of arts in sociology and anthropology with a minor in communication from Lake Forest College.
Kelly J. Matuszewski

Kelly serves as the Department Assistant. In this role, she provides administrative support to the Gates Center as well as campus-wide support on leadership and personal growth programming.
