Student Government                                      

Student Government is the representative voice of the student body. Student Senate serves as the link between the students and the administration of the College and is a vital aspect of student life at Lake Forest College. Student Senators are elected from residential and commuter populations as well as from each class, first-year through senior year.

Biography:

Chris is a sophomore, Politics and Economics double major from Wonder Lake, Illinois.  Chris has previously served as the Grounds and Development Committee Chair.  Chris has been a member of Student Council/Student Government for the past four years, serving in the capacity of an executive board member for three of those years.  Aside from representing his fellow classmates, Chris loves to sing and is a member of the Concert Choir and Sons of Pitches male a cappella group here at Lake Forest College.  He played football for nine years and loves to still get together with friends and throw the ball around, as well as play Ultimate, and fish.

Biography:   

Lilit is an international sophomore student at Lake Forest College pursuing a major in International Relations and Communications. Freshman year high school was when she first got involved in Student Government. She was elected as her class representative and became vice-president of Student Council in her junior year. Other than Student Government, Lilit is involved in Delta Gamma Fraternity and holds the position of Vice-President Social Media in the American Marketing Association.

Biography:

Ivaylo is a sophomore at Lake Forest. He is majoring in politics and philosophy. He first got involved in Student Government in the seventh grade. As a freshman at Lake Forest, he served as Blackstone Senator.  Other than Student Government, Ivaylo is a Resident Assistant in Deerpath Hall and sits on the Lambda Chi Alpha Executive Board.

My name is Chris Way and I’m so excited to be serving as the Campus Affairs Chair this semester in Student Government. Outside of Student Government I sit on Campus Life Committee, head Forester Connect, am the Blackstone Hall Senator, and I sit on the Board of Trustees Student Affairs committee. I’m a politics and communication major as well as a legal studies minor. I am so thankful to be a part of Student Government because nothing pleases me more than helping out the student body. I love hearing concerns from students and being able to assist in any way possible.
