Grace’s Cottage Residency Application Instructions
Mission statement:
This unique living arrangement is available to students as an honor for their contributions to the Lake Forest College community as well as community involvement and service opportunities. The Cottage is a tangible reminder of Grace’s wonderful generosity. The primary goal of the two residents will be to promote the Grace Elizabeth Groner Foundation Grant Program. The residents will also be expected to host and participate in various campus events celebrating Grace Elizabeth Groner and the student experiences she has made possible.
Eligibility:
Residencies will be awarded to two female seniors who have received a Grace Elizabeth Groner Grant and have completed or are in the process of completing an off-campus study program, internship or service mission. Residents will be selected individually.
Instructions:
1. Fill out on-line application form below by November 1st of the prior academic year.
2. Obtain one recommendation from a Lake Forest College professor or coach in addition to one recommendation from your off-campus study program, internship or service opportunity supervisor (recommendation form).
*To be eligible for consideration, applicants must be on campus during the academic year of the Cottage residency (this does not include summer, winter or spring break programs).
