Anne Thomason is the College Archivist and Librarian for Special Collections. In this role, Anne collects, organizes, processes, preserves and provides access to College records, Special Collections, and photographs.
Anne also serves as the Digital Archivist for the Chicago Mellon grant. She is looking forward to creating digital exhibits and apps featuring some of the College’s most intriguing Special Collections. She especially enjoys collaborating with faculty and students in classroom and research projects, such as the digital humanities projects emerging from the Mellon grant.
Anne has a MSI from the University of Michigan, a MA in History from Emory University, and BA from Macalester College. She currently serves on the Midwest Archives Conference Council, and participates in several professional organization committees. Anne loves exploring Chicago, travel, and walking her dog.
