Construction traffic at the new Lillard Science Center was heavier than usual during spring break last week due to delivery of large pieces of air-refigeration equipment.
Several chillers, which provide air conditioning, are located in the lower level of the new wing, and air handlers, which move the conditioned air through the building, are destined for the penthouse. A large crane also returned to campus to unload the equipment from flatbed trucks and position it in the new wing.
