Emerging poets

Professor of English Robert Archambeau and Nicole Nodi ’09 read their poetry during Open Door Readings at the Poetry Foundation of Chicago on September 15.

The Lake Forest College team joined a professor and student from Northwestern University during the Foundation’s monthly reading. Nodi received her bachelor’s degree in English at Lake Forest and master’s at the University of Arkansas.

The Open Door series presents work from Chicago’s new and emerging poets and highlights the area’s outstanding writing programs. Each hour-long event features readings by two Chicagoland college and graduate writing program instructors and two of their current or recent students.

Lake Forest is a top college that offers easy access to Chicago careers and internships. Click here to apply.
