Learning in Greece

Students and professors enjoyed the annual study abroad program to Greece this past spring.

Students came back from the Classical Studies Program’s annual trip to Greece this May. The group of fourteen students had been studying abroad since the middle of March.

The program allows students to take a full semester’s worth of classes, giving them the adventure to stay abroad and still stay on schedule. Staying in a youth hostel, the students were taught by Lake Forest College staff. Student Bianca Greene enjoyed the unique experience.

“I learned not only the material that each class taught me, but a lot about myself too.” She enjoyed how the class traveled all over Greece and that each site they stopped at was her classroom.  “The unique experience of going with people from Lake Forest College was so exciting,” Greene said. “We became a family.”
