Bianca Greene ’11 captured students in Professor Lebergott’s Advanced Drawing course working with John Carrafa, dancer/choreographer and last year’s artist in residence. Carrafa choreographed a short dance, and the drawing students responded to the timing, sense of movement, arcs, and jumps. Some worked individually and others with partners. “These drawings stood on their own,” says Lebergott, “and also became a part of the pedagogy of the class in connecting one’s own body to the drawing process.”
