Athletic Facilities Assistant
Lake Forest College is accepting applications for an Athletic Facilities Assistant. This is a 10-month, salaried position. Due to the nature of this position, a significant amount of evening and weekend hours will be necessary during the academic year (August to May).
Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Associate AD for Facilities and Operations, the Athletic Facilities Assistant will perform daily facility walk-throughs of all athletic facilities to ensure proper cleanliness and operations, line fields, make repairs or submit work orders as needed, assist with equipment room management and team laundry service, provide event management during assigned athletic contests, supervise and schedule game crew student workers, and complete other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Athletics or Director of Athletics.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred, the ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong interest and experience in facility and/or ice rink management and maintenance. This individual must also possess strong leadership, written and oral communication skills, solid planning and organizational abilities, the ability to multi-task and problem solve, and demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office.
