College partners with Holocaust Museum on ‘Notorious RBG’ exhibit

Lake Forest College has partnered with the Illinois Holocaust Museum to promote the museum’s current exhibition, Notorious RBG: The Life and Times of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

“This community partnership between the College and the Illinois Holocaust Museum establishes an important connection among our respective institutions,” said Associate Professor of Communication and Chair of Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies Elizabeth Benacka.

The exhibition is a vibrant showcase of Justice Ginsburg’s life and her numerous roles as a student, wife, mother, lawyer, judge, and women’s rights pioneer.

Ginsburg’s story is told using dynamic gallery interactives, listening stations, archival photographs and documents, historical artifacts, and contemporary art.

The exhibition opened February 9 and will run through August 16, 2020 at the museum, located at 9603 Woods Drive, Skokie, Illinois.
