Sam Jaffe is a multi-disciplinary artist currently living and working in Chicago.  The works in this exhibit combine textiles, papier-mache, wood, yarn, jewels and household objects. In her artist’s statement, Jaffe explains her work as a discussion of the relationship between automated mass-production and slow, painstaking processes that involve an individual’s hand.
