On Tuesday, April 6, 2013, Lake Forest College presented the 16th Annual Steven Galovich Memorial Student Symposium. The day-long event featured more than 100 presentations from 200 students, including original research papers and posters, round-table discussions, demonstrations, musical and theatrical productions, and an art exhibit.
A large crowd of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends gathered at the ceremonial beam signing and unveiling of the science center’s new name: the Lillard Science Center.
Students, faculty, and staff joined athletics on the quad to kick off Forester Friday. Don’t forget to wear your red and black!
If the zip-line didn’t catch your eye, the oversized balloons, loud music, and loads of people sure did! Middle Campus Quad turned into the stage for the Forester Fair, where students explore the variety of clubs, organizations, and offices where they can get involved.
Each year, Lake Forest College honors the Senior 25 – twenty-five senior year students who have, as leaders among their peers, positively contributed to the quality of life in the Lake Forest College community through their service, commitment, and achievements.
In a long-standing Lake Forest tradition, future Foresters walked through a gauntlet of cheering students, faculty, and staff to Matriculation at First Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, August 24. The Student Government Executive Board and the 2015-2016 Senior 25 led the walk.
