John Waters Lecture

In a comedy-filled routine titled “This Filthy World,” John Waters discussed his careers in film, art, and literature, ranting about his life, pop culture, and things that make him crazy as only John Waters can. The event was sponsored by the Ruth A. Winter Lecture Series, and was the culmination of the two-month long John Waters Film Festival on campus.

    Thirteen students were inducted into the Nu Rho Sci national neuroscience honorary society in a ceremony on March 17. Seven alumni and two faculty members also were inducted.

    Students took a break from mid-terms to connect with three visiting therapy dogs on March 15. The Office of Residence Life coordinated the session as a way to reduce stress and bring students together outside the classroom.

    Starting in fall 2016, In The Loop students will live in Chicago at The Flats (829 South Wabash) in the South Loop. The Flats will provide our students with fully furnished apartments, complete with bath, kitchen, common area, and with incredible views of the city and Lake Michigan.
