Alexandra Charron ‘09 in Kenya on volunteer work: “My time at Lake Forest College provided a great base to build on my experiences to achieve my goal of going to medical school. Being a small school, it was so easy to get involved in research and extracurriculars. The pre-health advisers were a huge asset, with their extensive knowledge of what would make me a great applicant and their willingness to go above and beyond to help me achieve my goals. I wouldn’t be where I am without the people at Lake Forest College.”
