National Girls and Women in Sports Day
The Lake Forest College Athletics Department invites you to attend National Girls and Women in Sports Day on Saturday, February 19, 2012 at the Sports and Recreation Center. The event is sponsored by the Lake Forest College Athletic Council and the Christine Neuman-Affourtit Foundation. Click here for the event flyer.
The goal of this special day, filled with rotating stations of basketball, volleyball, soccer, handball, running, tennis and softball, is to highlight the positive influence that sports have on the lives of women and girls. In its 25th year, Lake Forest College is proud to be one of the many institutions to celebrate this important day.
Participants receive a free t-shirt, snacks and lots of Forester fun! Girls should be 6-14 years of age and registrations will be limited to the first 125 registrants. All activities are free of charge.

Schedule:
12:30pm: Check-in
1pm – 3:30pm: Activities/Games w/Lake Forest College Student-Athletes
3:30pm: Zumba Fitness Showcase (Guardians encouraged to attend)
3:45pm: Snacks & lessons in health/wellness
4:00pm: Dismissal
NOTE: If a participant arrives without a signed waiver form, she will not be able to participate in the day’s activities.
