Men’s Basketball: Lake Forest vs. Carroll University, Midwest Conference Tournament Semifinals

The Lake Forest College Men’s Basketball team claimed the 2011-2012 Midwest Conference Title since they posted a win over Monmouth College on Saturday, February 11 that allowed them to not only clinch the title, but also moved them to 19-2 overall this season and set a new Forester men’s basketball record for victories in a season, surpassing the 1976-77 mark of 18-4. With the conference title also comes the honor of hosting the MWC Conference Tournament, which will determine the league’s automatic qualifier for the NCAA Division III Tournament, on February 24-25.

Admission: $5.00/day; $3.00/day for students (high school and younger), children under six are free and MWC students, faculty and staff with ID’s from participating schools are admitted free. Ticket sales are on a first come first serve basis. F.A.N. Club members are free with proof of membership. Gymnasium doors will open 1.5 hours prior to tip-off on each day.
