What Not to Bring
The following is a list of items that are prohibited in the residence halls. Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and all students are expected to know and understand the Student Handbook as well as Residence Hall Regulations.

 

Please do not bring:
air-conditioning units
animals (pets, including fish, are prohibited)
answering machine (You don't need one! Each resident receives his/her own free voice mailbox)
candles, incense, potpourri burners

extension cords that are longer than 6 feet
halogen lamps

hot plates
large stereo speakers/sub-woofers
large refrigerators with output greater than 4 amps
microwaves
multiple-outlet devices that do not have a 15-amp resettable circuit breaker
power strips with cords longer than 6 feet
neon signs
shower curtain (provided by the College)
toasters, toaster ovens or anything with an open heating coil
